The innovative vaccine research team of Ab&B Bio-Tech Co., Ltd. JS has been awarded the honorary title of "Jiangsu Youth May Fourth Medal Collective"!
The Jiangsu Youth May Fourth Medal is the highest honor for young talents in Jiangsu. Our team, as a representative of the biopharmaceutical field, was selected together with outstanding collectives such as the National Integrated Circuit Characteristic Process and Packaging Testing Innovation Center Youth Strike Team, fully demonstrating the high recognition of Ab&B Bio's innovation strength and youth responsibility from all sectors of society.
The team has a total of 87 members, of which 71% are under 35 years old and 11 have a PhD. They have completed the industrialization and successful launch of the only trivalent and quadrivalent influenza subunit vaccines for the entire population in China so far; Continuously tackling innovative vaccines urgently needed in multiple markets, we have obtained IND approvals for four Class I new drugs including recombinant herpes zoster vaccine, achieving a collective breakthrough in "taming adverse reactions".
The team actively promotes the research and development of vaccines related to major infectious diseases. The first monkeypox mRNA vaccine in China to receive clinical trial approval from the US FDA has been proven to have good safety and excellent immunogenicity in monkeys. It can effectively neutralize the monkeypox virus and obtain independent intellectual property rights, demonstrating the collective speed of "racing against the virus". At the same time, the team establishes a quality system that covers the entire product lifecycle, fully ensuring product quality and safety.
In addition, the team actively practices social responsibility - not only by donating vaccines to key populations, but also by exploring the integration of medical and preventive measures, providing evidence-based vaccination for special groups such as pregnant women, children with nephrotic syndrome, and chronic diseases, reducing their risk of infection and severe illness, and supporting the Healthy China strategy with practical actions.
This year marks the beginning of the 15th Five Year Plan and also the beginning of Ab&B Bio's 3rd Five Year Plan. This honor will continue to inspire all young people of Ab&B Bio to remember their instructions and take on responsibilities.
